JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

• Executing maintenance • Providing an operating service to HV plant • Ensuring compliance with safety, health and environmental policies • Providing a repair- and breakdown service. • Mentoring and coaching of learners and employees • Providing an advisory service • Performing documentation and configuration management

Requirements

Competencies

• Behavioural - Professionalism, Trustworthiness, Honesty, integrity • Leadership - Team player, coaching, mentoring, developing • Knowledge - plant, equipment, local operating procedures & requirements, certificate to execute maintenance according to HV Plant verification requirements, planning procedures, operating procedure, switchgear maintenance according to HV Plant verification requirements, work site requirements, Operating Regulations for for High Voltage Systems (ORHVS) and Occupational Health and Safety legislation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Trade Certificate - Electrical (heavy Current) at NQF4 with 120 credits Experience: 3 years electrical experience
