Introduction

ASSMANG Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled, motivated and dedicated individuals who would like to be part of this exciting mine and who would like to make use of this unique opportunity to grow and develop within the company to apply for the position at our Black Rock Mine Operations, situated 80km North-West of Kuruman in the Northern Cape. To plan, schedule and monitor the activities of the Enterprise Asset Management System to achieve operational targets in a cost-effective manner.

Job description

• Key Functional Areas: Approval Cycle of Asset Management, Ensure Availability of Asset, Establish Maintenance Capability, Maintain Assets, Post Maintenance, Post Repair, Improve Maintenance Capability (Continuous Improvement), Provide Feedback to Business, Contribute to Asset Design, Master Data Management. • Critical Decisions: Classification of asset/equipment, Fuel management and Key Control Required, Is Maintenance Program Development Required, Asset/Equipment under Warranty/Service Agreement, gain attestation on the Maintenance Plan, ensure completeness of the set of conditions and scenarios considered in the Maintenance Plan, Classify Rotable/Repairable Item as Capital/Non-Capital, determine if repair item is Rotable. • Meetings/Stakeholder Interactions: Daily Maintenance Engineering Reporting, Engineer BRMO Connect Meeting, Shaft BRMO Connect Meeting, Maintenance Planning Meeting, Ad-hoc Adjudication Meeting, Standardisation Meeting, Shaft Mine Plan Planning Meeting, OEM Meeting. • Dependencies on other Organisational Areas: Stores, GES, OEM, Engineer. • Support and Administrative Functions: Personnel Management, Subordinate Career Development. • Financial Participation: Annual Departmental Budget, Contribute to Mine Financial Budget, Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Cost Allocation Reserves, Capital and Replacement Capital.

Minimum requirements

• Grade 12. • Trade Test with Minimum of N3. • Certificate Maintenance Management. • Code B/EB Drivers Licence.• 3 Years Artisan Experience Mining or Heavy Industry. • 2 Years Work Planning and Control Experience in a Mining Maintenance Environment.
