Site Agent/Construction Manager

Job Summary

Our client is looking for an experienced Site Agent / Construction Manager for a major water pipeline project in Cape Town, with a focus on large-diameter water pipeline installations and associated civil works.

Requirements

• BSc / BEng / BTech in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related Built Environment qualification
• Professional registration with ECSA and/or SACPCMP
• Minimum 15 years' post-qualification experience
• Proven experience specifically on large pipeline installation projects
• Experience must include associated civil works and site management
• Strong construction management and subcontractor management experience
• Experience managing major infrastructure projects
• Ability to manage construction programs, resources, quality, safety and commercial aspects of the works
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and project documentation
