About the Role

Are you an experienced Retail Credit professional who understands what it takes to manage and optimise an existing credit portfolio?

We’re looking for a Team Lead: Credit Intelligence Analysis to lead and develop a team of Credit Intelligence Analysts and Specialists within our Client Account Management environment.

Who is the role suited for?

This role is particularly suited to someone with strong experience in:

🔹 Revolving credit portfolios , such as credit cards or store cards 🔹 Account Management / Existing Business credit strategy 🔹 Credit limit increases, decreases and exposure management 🔹 Portfolio analytics, predictive modelling and credit strategy optimisation 🔹 Pre-delinquency, collections and recoveries strategies 🔹 Credit and/or collections scorecards 🔹 Coaching and developing analytical teams

You'll combine your credit expertise with strong analytical thinking to influence how we manage existing clients, optimise portfolio performance and proactively manage credit risk

What you will bring:

6–8 years' retail credit experience, with the applicable experience requirement reducing to 5–7 years for candidates with an Honours degree At least 3 years' portfolio-specific experience Strong retail credit analytics experience SQL and descriptive analytics exposure Bachelor's degree in Finance or Statistics OR

A relevant post graduate qualifitation in Finance or Statistics (nice to have) Strong leadership, coaching and influencing capability
